- Do I need to be a PSW or CNA?
- No. Non-medical companionship — conversation, outings, errands, activities and presence — does not require a healthcare credential to use Beacompanion. If you plan to offer anything beyond non-medical companionship, check the rules where you live.
- What does a senior companion do?
- Visits, conversation, shared activities, outings, errands, light help around the home and steady contact with family. It is social and practical support, not personal or medical care.
- Do I need a client before I start?
- No. You can set up your services, build your page and practise the whole client journey with a fictional test client before anyone real is involved.
- Does Beacompanion guarantee clients?
- No. Beacompanion does not guarantee clients. You get a professional page you can share, and approved profiles may appear where families search.
